Hey there! So you’ve got your eyes on the Ultimate Life Journal? Awesome choice!

This journal is a hyperlinked PDF that you can easily import into apps like GoodNotes or Collanotes. You can pick it up for the version dated from July 2024 to June 2025. While the August 2025 – December 2025 update will be available for download on January 1, 2025, it will feature an array of new templates and enhancements—all based on feedback and suggestions from our amazing users.

Downloading Your Journal

After you buy it, you’ll get an email with all the download links. If you’re shopping on Gumroad, remember to use a browser, not the app—trust me, it makes a difference.

Tip: If you’re on an iPad, stick with Safari. Chrome can be a bit iffy with downloads.

Once you’ve downloaded the journal, pop open the Files app:

• Head to the “Downloads” folder on the left menu.
• Got a .zip file? Just tap it to unzip right there on your iPad. (And yep, make sure it actually says .zip at the end!)

Importing Your Journal into GoodNotes

• Drag and drop the .pdf file straight into GoodNotes.
• Or, hit the +New button, select Import, and navigate to where your journal file is.
• Alternatively, find your journal in the Downloads folder, tap the Share icon, and choose GoodNotes.

Adding a Journal Cover

• Go to the first page of your journal in the app.
• Tap the plus page icon, make sure ‘Before’ is selected, and then choose ‘import file’ or ‘insert image’—depending on where you’ve saved your cover.
• Pick your cover image, and voilà! Check out your new cover on the first page.

Importing Digital Stickers into GoodNotes

• First, make sure any zip files are unzipped. Tap on the file if on iPad, double-click if on Mac, or right-click and select “extract” on PC.
• For GoodNotes precropped sticker sheets and Elements that end in “.goodnotes” or “.collection”:
  • Tap on the file.
  • Tap the share arrow in the top-right corner.
  • Scroll and find the GoodNotes app. If it’s not visible, click ‘more’ and then select GoodNotes.
  • The file will automatically open in GoodNotes, ready for you to import.
